City of Calgary Roads App Reviews

Half the cameras are offline. What a joke!

There is major flooding (for Calgary) happening, and the City of Calgary website says to use their apps to check for road closures. Well guess what? There are none listed on this app specifically for Calgary roads! There are no parking bans listed, the last "update" was from April 24 saying how the snow appears to be gone, and the pictures from the traffic cameras havent been updated since yesterday at 15:35. I dont see how this app could be much more of a failure, at one of the times when it is actually needed the most!

Where are the updates about is closed.

I would like to apply for the job of the person responsible for updating and maintaining this app. Cameras never work and right now we have major road closures in city but app has not been updated for 6 weeks. Imagine a job where you got paid to do nothing.

Really could be useful if it had flood conditions and road closures!

Weve just had the disaster floods of the century and nothing is updated on this about Calgarys road and bridge and transit wipe outs! Duh?

No updates in 3 months. Including State of Emergency called due to flood.

The updates always appear to be at least a week old. My last update was from April 24. And we have had the major flood which closed down major roada

Great app for Calgary

Need more cameras. Especially southern deerfoot. Some cameras have been "offline" for months also. If te app has cameras in an area you plan on traveling through then it is useful!

Traffic app slow and freezes! Never up-to date

The ease of use is definitely not there. Other apps are more user friendly (ie/google maps). Dont waste your data on this one...

Keep saying cannot reach server

Another piece of trash produced by the City of Calgary. No info, cameras offline, images from 8 hours back on the cameras that are online, updates from months ago. Useless. Deleting now.

VERY slow! Crashed. Deleting this app!

No improvement over last year. Maybe worse. Freezes when I try to display secondary roads. Data is not timely so information is unavailable when needed, which makes the app useless. Good idea but bad execution.

Just freezes up!! Useless

As someone who rents a house with street-parking only, this app is incredibly useful! Now I dont have to constantly call 311 or go out to the street to see if I have to move my car for the plow!

Pretty much a useless App. Doesnt work well on the ipad and Im too busy driving to fight with this thing in traffic.

The app is supposed to help you determine what the roads are like in the winter. How is that possible when theyre always offline. Just a garbage app created by the city.
